Broadband Internet has changed the way that both small and large organisations connect to the Internet.  Large

organisations can often replace their expensive leased lines and small businesses can now have one fast

connection for many PCs.  Businesses now rely on broadband, and when it is not available even the smallest of

firm can find it's business crippled. Ensuring that a connection is reliable and of high enough quality has

never been so important.

We've been involved with broadband Internet engineering since it was first available in the UK.   We do not

re-sell broadband as we cannot have enough control over the service as we'd like.   We leave that to our friends

over at Rural Internet.   However we know broadband intimately and recognise that businesses require a higher

quality connection than a standard home connection and that this must be reliable.

Our involvement is from an engineering perspective.  We have advanced analysers to optimise lines, locate

faults and we provide solutions to enhance the available speed and reliability of businesses Internet connections.

Line engineering services:

  • Diagnostics and line analysis to assess line capability and reliability.  Often a telephone line that support

broadband is not operating at full efficiency, and following analysis, partial line re-cabling within the

clients

premises can yield gains in speed an reliability

  • Fault Diagnostics and management.  Our analysis can help identify the problem, whether it is line or ISP

related. Some of our tests are more in depth than what BT Openreach engineers can carry out.

  • Long reach line broadband.  We work with Rural Internet to provide broadband to customers who are in

the country or are too far away from the telephone exchange to get broadband, or is very slow.

  • Broadband socket moves,  both BT line based ADSL or Cable based broadband.

Broadband Networking:

  • Simple broadband networking. Providing networked broadband to an office or location
  • Broadband Failover.  2 Broadband connections from different suppliers. If one goes down the other steps in
  • Broadband Load Balancing.  2 Broadband connections from different suppliers. Both connections used at

once to increase the amount of PCs that can use it.  If one fails all traffic goes through the remaining.

  • Bonded Broadband.  Between 2-8 connections are bonded together,  this is different from Load Balanced

as the maximum speed of the connection is increased.  Click here to find out more about our Bonded         ADSL and Unified Bandwidth Management solutions
